Sustainability, from insight to concrete results
Making sustainability workable is what I help organizations do, from the first strategic choice to implementation in practice. Independent, and with an approach that keeps working after I have left.
Sustainability succeeds or fails on implementation, not on ambition.
You know it has to play a role in your organization. But which direction to take, and why, has not been decided yet.
Communicating ambitions, efforts and results transparently to your supply chain, customers and the world around you takes a clear approach.
Implementation takes more than a plan: ownership, structure and an approach the organization can carry on its own afterwards.
Sustainability only lands when your own organization carries it. Bringing people along, assigning roles and building ownership are part of it from day one.
What clients say
“With a practical approach and a structured method, Raimon delivered a crop protection ambition document for Flowers & Plants, with clear direction and an execution plan.”
Quotes from Dutch-speaking clients have been translated.
Three steps. One result.
Bringing the issue, the context and the key choices into sharp focus. Understand first, then advise.
Translating ambition into priorities, roles and a plan that works in your organization's day-to-day reality.
Making sure people know what is needed, can take up their role and feel ownership.
Making progress visible and adjusting where needed, until it stands and works in the organization.
Strategy and implementation from the inside
With more than 25 years of experience in food and floriculture, I am an experienced change manager. As Group Sustainability Manager at Dutch Flower Group, I was responsible for developing and delivering the sustainability strategy across a group of 30+ companies.
There I showed from the inside that sustainability is more than strategy: it takes governance that works, structure that lasts and implementation that actually lands. That knowledge, built in practice and proven at scale, comes with me to every assignment.
That is the core of R.H.L. Consultancy: not advising and leaving, but putting knowledge to work that moves your organization forward. Fully independent: no platform to sell, no generic approach. And sector knowledge that has nothing left to prove: I know the chain, from breeder to retailer, inside out.
Since August 2025 I have been working independently, with assignments for HSPI (Footprinting working group and Transparency working group), Albert Heijn (crop protection products), VGB (International Responsible Business Conduct Agreement for floriculture) and EmpCo claims compliance for various (international) companies.
What I help with
Strategy & Ambition
Mapping which ambitions are realistic, which priorities lead to visible results, and how that translates into a route that works in your organization's day-to-day reality.
Program & Project Management
Taking charge of planning, the parties involved and progress, from set-up to delivery. So you can focus on your core business.
Structure, Governance & Compliance
Setting up the structure that makes sustainability manageable and compliant with legislation such as CSRD, CSDDD, PPWR, EUDR and EmpCo: clear roles, clear reporting and ownership the organization can carry on its own.
Implementation
From strategic choice to concrete action, monitoring progress and adjusting until the result is achieved.
Interim & Team Support
Temporary deployment as sustainability manager when your organization needs extra capacity, or coaching for your own sustainability lead.
AI in Practice
Building AI systems and workflows that automate regulation, data and reporting, so your sustainability team can work faster and sharper. Where wanted, I teach your team to build and maintain this themselves.
